Transitional Services

Community Support Housing Palmer Home is a adolescent residence, serving up to eight individuals ranging in the ages of 17 to 21. We service individuals with developmental, emotional, psychiatric and behavioural difficulties. As well as individuals diagnosed with ABI (Acquired Brain Injury), DDS (Dual Diagnosed Syndrome), genetic disorders, Conduct Disorder as well as those who have come into conflict with the law.
Palmer Home provides on-sight client centered day programming for all residents who are not in school or employed. The residents take part in such programming as life skills training, personal and self help training, and home schooling programs in various subject areas.
Residents are actively involved in their own goal setting and life planning. They are encouraged to get involved with the community and access outside services as integration is also a primary focus of our program. Palmer Home is very client centerd and all programming is based on the individuals needs and capability level.
